Through the influence of his love Hanna, a wealthy wholesaler named Nils Berg spent much of his fortune at the turn of the last century to provide rest and recreation for Stockholm's workers here at Marholmen. We want to share the heritage that we have been honored to manage - and what better way than to provide a place for celebration?
Party package with dinner menu at Marholmen
Our party package can be booked in our historic and beautiful premises Grosshandlargården or Strandpaviljongen, located in the heart of Marholmen and built during Elsa Beskow's time on our island. Our party packages include:
- A three-course festive menu in Grosshandlargården or Strandpaviljongen.
- Waiters and cooks
- Furnishing with tables, chairs, linen tablecloths and napkins
- Plates, glasses and cutlery
Possible options:
- Pre-drink and several choices of drink packages
- Wine, beer, Champagne, sparkling wine, cocktails and avec
- Snacks in the form of canapés, snacks, cheese and charcuterie
- Serving of any wedding cake
- Filling
Minimum 40 people.
Price indication: from 1270 SEK per person.
The price example includes a furnished banquet room with a 3-course menu and coffee for 80 people in Strandpaviljongen.

Party room Strandpaviljongen
The beach pavilion with room for up to 80 seated dinner guests, has a fantastic terrace with a breathtaking view of the beautiful Solöfjärden. Here are all the possibilities for a successful party, wedding party, baptism or corporate event.
Party room in the old Grosshandlargården building
The beautiful old folk education home Grosshandlargården, with room for up to 50 seated guests, has been carefully renovated to preserve its unique character and history is constantly present - in both large and small ways.
This is always included when you book a party at Marholmen
- Access to the venue from 11 am on the day of the party until 1 am.
- Waiting staff and chef(s)
- All raw materials on order
- Normal cleaning
- Furniture in the form of round tables for up to 8 people.
- Tables, chairs, tablecloths and linen napkins
- Plates, glasses, cutlery
- Existing noise in the premises (not suitable for dancing)
Please note:
- Any music must be turned off by 01.00 at the latest to respect other guests on the island and our neighbors.
- Alcoholic beverages may not be consumed at Marholmen's catering facilities, including the party room.
- The venue must be emptied of any decorations at the agreed time.
