Over the years, we have organized thousands of meetings, conferences, kick-offs and events of all kinds here at Marholmen. It is the accumulated knowledge and experience that you as our customer can benefit from.
We are the Meeting Place of the Year 2025!
During a gala dinner on April 28, this year's edition of the Swedish Meeting Prize was awarded in the company of about a hundred representatives from Sweden's best conference facilities.
And the winner of the Meeting Place of the Year 2025 is .... Marholmen!
The award for Meeting Place of the Year went to us who, in competition with over 150 of Sweden's best meeting facilities, received the highest rating in customer surveys in terms of overall customer satisfaction.

With pride and joy, we see how the winners' efforts raise the quality of meetings, strengthen the value of each guest and inspire others in the industry, says Michael Schüller, CEO of Svenska Möten.
Sweden's best conference chef works at Marholmen!
Our chef Alexander Lundin took home the victory in the senior class when the Swedish final of the Copper Skillet chef competition was held at Sergel HUB on March 24!
Alexander won with a dish of zander with roast cheese, steamed asparagus, butter-fried morels and wild garlic, served with potatoes tossed in butter sauce with morels and spinach. The jury included renowned chef Paul Svensson and the motivation was as follows:
"A professional craftsmanship where every detail has been given full attention. From simple ingredients, the winner has managed to bring out the maximum of flavor in each ingredient and a beautiful, modern presentation. A dish in complete balance"
Alexander will now compete in the European final in October. The winners will go on to the World Finals in spring 2026.
Copper Skillet is a global competition for chefs working at conference centers affiliated with the International Association of Conference Centers (IACC), in collaboration with Svenska Möten and Nores.

Gather the whole team in a big tent, surrounded by the tranquillity of nature, with high ceilings and plenty of space to innovate and think big. The tent has all the equipment and technology you need, but also the opportunity to think and do something completely new.
This unique meeting experience is the perfect combination of productivity and relaxation. Set your own theme for the meeting, perhaps a festival theme, cowboy theme, outdoor theme or something completely different - your imagination sets the limits! Here on the island there is both space for reflection and mingling, which strengthens the bonds and creates memories that last.

Separate conferences with accommodation in your own villa
Looking for a place for secluded meetings and conferences in your own villa or cabin? Then you have come to the right place. Here at Marholmen there are several villas and houses where you and your group can both stay and conference.
In our largest villa, Villa Bergall meals are served by our own chef in the villa. The villas can accommodate up to 18 participants and if more beds are needed, there are nearby accommodations to supplement with.

Marholmen's 34 hectares offer a variety of opportunities and environments for meetings. Smaller meetings can choose to meet privately in one of our historic villas, while groups of up to 180 people can be accommodated in our largest room, Skeppet. Or why not rent the whole island!

Secluded meetings in your own villa
Welcome to our unique 1915 Art Nouveau villa - Villa Berg! The villa can be rented for private meetings, conferences or corporate events with room for 18 people. Private use of the entire villa including all 13 guest rooms, own chef and all meals are included in the price. If more rooms are needed, there are nearby villas to book.

Last night our Alexander took home first place in CopperSkillet - an international chef competition for meeting facilities.
Joel, who also competed for Marholmen, did a fantastic job and we are almost bursting with pride to have such great chefs in our kitchen.
Now we are cheering for Alexander in the European final in October - one step closer to the world final in the USA in 2026!

Among all the groups that meet at Marholmen, few choose what we in the industry call a "Kaluka meeting", i.e. coffee, lunch, coffee in a conference room with four walls. No, here almost everyone takes the opportunity to discover the island, our spa or spend time in nature! And as you know, there's no such thing as bad weather, so you can come all year round.
With the help of our professional team, your meeting will be as good as you want it to be!
