Over the years, we've hosted thousands of meetings, conferences, kick-offs, and events of all kinds here at Marholmen. As our customer, you get to benefit from all that accumulated knowledge and experience.
Our island is connected by a bridge, and we’re located 60 minutes by car from Stockholm Central Station and Arlanda Airport, and about 70 minutes from downtown Uppsala. We’d be happy to help you arrange shared bus transportation or a taxi to get here.
Now you'll encounter something "new" Marholmen
Over the past year, we have undergone an extensive renovation and expansion of our main building, and we are now proud to present a reception lobby, restaurant, and bar that are 600 square meters larger, with plenty of space to socialize and relax, complete with pool tables and shuffleboard.
At the same time, all meeting rooms underwent a major renovation and were equipped with new technology, and the newly renovated Marholmens Spa was completed over the summer.

A private villa with a personal chef—perfect for the executive team or the board of directors
Welcome to our truly unique Art Nouveau villa from 1915— Villa Berg! This carefully renovated villa is available for rent for private meetings, conferences, or corporate events, with space for 18 people. This villa is particularly well-suited for executive teams or boards of directors.
Private use of the entire villa, including accommodations in the 13 guest rooms, a private chef, and all meals, is included in the price. If additional guest rooms are needed, nearby villas are available for booking.

An energetic kickoff with team-building activities
Kickoff events are one of our specialties. We have plenty of space here to organize team-building kickoff events for the management team, the team, or the entire company, with up to 150 participants.
Conference Package with Overnight Stay & Spa
During a conference, the best ideas or the most fruitful discussions don’t always happen in the meeting room. It’s often after the meeting that the magic happens—for example, in the spa.

Here at Marholmen , there are several villas and cottages where small groups can both stay and hold meetings in privacy, while still having all of the island’s activities, facilities, and services within easy reach.

Marholmen's Winter Buffet
Marholmen’s Winter Buffet, featuring the flavors of Christmas, will be served from November 29 through December 20 for up to 150 guests in Hermans Matsal. The Winter Buffet consists of a selection of individual portions specially chosen by our kitchen team.
You’re free to choose from the selection of dishes based on your own favorite flavors to create your own culinary experience. The Winter Table (not to be confused with a traditional Christmas buffet) includes all the Christmas favorites but is presented and served in a new way. Groups of up to 90 people can reserve their own private room.
Price for the Winter Table: 620 SEK, excluding tax per person

Diverse meeting and conference environments
Marholmen’s 34 hectares offer a variety of venues and settings for gatherings. Smaller groups of up to 20 people can choose to meet in a private setting in one of our historic villas. For groups of 20–80 people, there are several pleasant, medium-sized meeting rooms in the main building. Groups ranging from 80 to 150 people can be accommodated in various seating arrangements in our largest conference room, Skeppet. Or you can rent the entire island with all 408 beds!

Here at Marholmen , you’ll find accommodations that suit your group and make your stay a truly unique experience. Over 200 rooms with a total of 408 beds are spread across 50 hotel rooms, 36 cabin, four hotel buildings, and our seven villas of various sizes.
During the summer, you can also choose to stay in our five glamping tents.

A completely (un)usual meeting day
Among all the groups that meet at Marholmen, few opt for what we in the industry call a “Kaluka meeting”—that is, coffee, lunch, and more coffee in a four-walled conference room. No, here almost everyone takes the opportunity to explore the island, visit our spa, or spend time outdoors in nature! And as we all know, there’s no such thing as bad weather, so it’s just as nice to visit any time of year.
