How long do we save your personal data?
Marholmen stores personal data about you as a customer for as long as there's a customer relationship or as long as it's necessary to achieve the purposes described in this policy, as well as to meet legal requirements. You can request to be removed from our register at any time.

 

Marholmen is responsible for handling the personal data you provide to us as a customer. No data is passed on; it's only used by Marholmen. According to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to request information about the personal data processed about you in our customer register once every six calendar months. If you wish to receive such an extract, please send a written, signed request to us. Marholmen, Marholmen 1, 761 97 Norrtälje.

What are your rights?

You have the right to request information about the personal data we hold about you at any time. You can contact Marholmen, who will send you your personal data via email within one month.

 

Whenever Marholmen automatically processes your personal data, either with your consent or as part of an agreement, you have the right to get a copy of your data transferred to you or another party. This only applies to the personal data you've shared with us.

 

You have the right to request correction of your personal data if it's incorrect, including the right to complete incomplete personal data.

 

You have the right to erase any personal data processed by Marholmen at any time, with the exception of the following situations:

  • you have an ongoing booking with Marholmen
  • you have an ongoing inquiry that hasn't been sent yet or has only been partially sent
  • you have an unpaid debt with Marholmen, regardless of payment method
  • your debt has been sold to a third party within the last three years, or one year for deceased customers
  • your credit application has been rejected within the last three months
  • If you've made a booking, we save your personal data in connection with the transaction for accounting purposes.

 

You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data based on Marholmen's legitimate interest. Marholmen will not continue to process the personal data unless we can demonstrate a legitimate reason for the process that overrides your interests and rights, or due to legal claims.

 

If you believe we are processing your personal data incorrectly, you can contact us. You also have the right to file a complaint with a supervisory authority.

 

 

You have the right to demand that Marholmen restricts the processing of your personal data under the following circumstances:

  • If you object to the processing of your personal data based on Marholmen's legitimate interest, Marholmen must restrict all processing of the data during an ongoing investigation of legitimate interest.
  • If you've claimed that your personal data is incorrect, Marholmen must restrict all processing of this data during an ongoing investigation into whether the personal data is accurate.
  • If the processing of personal data violates the law, you can object to the deletion of personal data and instead request a restriction on the use of your personal data.
  • If Marholmen no longer needs your personal data, but it's required for you to defend yourself against legal claims. We'll keep your information for as long as needed to meet the purposes above, or for as long as we're legally required to. After that, your personal data will be deleted.
