How long do we save your personal data?
Marholmen saves personal data about you as a customer as long as there is a customer relationship or is necessary to achieve the purposes described in this policy and the legal requirements that exist. You can request to be removed from our register at any time.

 

Marholmen is responsible for handling the personal data that you as a customer provide to us. No information is passed on but is only used by Marholmen. According to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to request information about the personal data processed about you in our customer register once every six months. What are your rights?

You have the right to request information about the personal data we have about you at any time. You can contact Marholmen who will send you your personal data via email within one month.

 

Each time Marholmen processes your personal data in an automated manner with your consent or under an agreement, you have the right to have a copy of your data transferred to you or another party. This includes only the personal data you have provided to us.

 

You have the right to request rectification of your personal data if it is inaccurate, including the right to complete incomplete personal data.

 

You have the right to delete all personal data processed by Marholmen at any time with the exception of the following situations:

  • you have an ongoing booking with Marholmen
  • you have an ongoing request that has not yet been sent or has been partially sent.
  • you have an unpaid debt with Marholmen regardless of the payment method.
  • your debt has been resold to a third party in the last three years or one year for deceased customers.
  • your credit application has been rejected within the last three months
  • if you have made a booking, we store your personal data in connection with the transaction for accounting purposes.

 

You have the right to refuse the processing of your personal data based on Marholmen's legitimate interest. Marholmen does not continue to process the personal data unless we can demonstrate a legitimate reason for the process that overrides your interests and rights or due to legal claims.

 

If you believe that we are processing your personal data incorrectly, you can contact us. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

 

 

You have the right to require Marholmen to restrict the processing of your personal data in the following circumstances:

  • If you object to the processing of your personal data on the basis of Marholmen's legitimate interest, Marholmen shall restrict all processing of the data during the ongoing investigation of the legitimate interest.
  • If you have claimed that your personal data is inaccurate, Marholmen must restrict all processing of this data during the investigation of the accuracy of the personal data.
  • If the processing of your personal data is unlawful, you can oppose the erasure of your personal data and instead request the restriction of the use of your personal data.
  • If Marholmen no longer needs the personal data but it is required for you to be able to defend yourself against legal claims. We save your data as long as it is required to fulfill the above purposes or as long as we are required by law to do so. Thereafter, your personal data will be deleted.
