Check in. Exhale.

You, your family, your friends and your colleagues. Everyone has their Marholmen. Marholmen is its own island and a destination for relaxation and rest but also for food and nature experiences. Many seek out our spa and all the bathing opportunities available here on the island. For those who want to be physically active, there are many opportunities - from the outdoor gym to challenging friends or colleagues at Marholmen's Mästare at our activity course.

You stay in our fine and comfortable hotel where all rooms have their own terrace or balcony. Or you can choose to stay in one of the charming Marholm cottages. Or why not in one of our villas with lots of character? In the summer, we set up five glamping tents on the island of Rackaren and throughout the year there are fifteen pitches with electrical outlets to book for those who bring their own accommodation.

Marholmen is a historic place that wholesaler Nils Berg created in the early 1900s, together with his wife Hanna. Since then, many have found inspiration and rest here on the island. Elsa Beskow spent a lot of time here and has painted beautiful motifs on the ceiling of the Grosshandlargården. In several of her classic works you can also find traces of inspiration from Marholmen.

Today, some 60 employees call Marholmen their workplace. And every day, we manage Nils & Hanna's legacy and desire for Marholmen to be a place of rest and education for everyone. We hope that they would be proud of their Marholmen if they came here today.

A warm welcome to Marholmen.
