Check in. Relax.

You, your family, your friends, and your colleagues – everyone has their own Marholmen. Marholmen is a unique island, a perfect spot for relaxation and rest, but also for amazing food and nature experiences. Lots of people visit our spa and enjoy all the Bath options available here on the island. If you're looking to be physically active, there are tons of possibilities – from outdoor gyms to challenging your friends or colleagues to become Marholmen's Master on our activity course.

You'll stay in our lovely and comfy hotel, where all rooms have their own terrace or balcony. Or you could choose to stay in one of the charming cabins. Or why not one of our villas with loads of character? In the summers, we set up five glamping tents on the island of Rackaren, and all year round there are fifteen pitches with electricity hook-ups available to book if you bring your own accommodation.

Marholmen is a historic place created by merchant Nils Berg in the early 1900s, together with his wife Hanna. Since then, many have found inspiration and rest here on the island. Elsa Beskow spent a lot of time here, and she has, among other things, painted beautiful motifs on the ceiling inside the Merchant's Manor. You can also find traces of inspiration from Marholmen in many of her classic works.

Today, about 60 employees call Marholmen their workplace. And every day, we manage Nils & Hanna's legacy and their wish for Marholmen to be a place for rest and education for everyone. We hope they would be proud of their Marholmen if they visited today.

A warm welcome to Marholmen.
