Here at Marholmen there are several villas and cottages where you and your group can both stay and conference. The villas can accommodate up to 20 participants and if more beds are needed, nearby accommodation can be added.
Villa Berg - conference in your own villa for 10-20 people
Villa Berg has fourteen single rooms with private bathrooms and a large kitchen that invites you to socialize. The villa also has a sauna with its own hot tub right outside, a wine cellar with a long table and a large, bright and lovely glazed room overlooking the bay.
The villa is ideal to rent for smaller meetings and conferences such as management team or board meetings. Here you are on your own but with all the services that Marholmen offers within easy reach. Do you want to stay all-inclusive and have all meals served in the villa? Or do you prefer to eat your meals in the hotel restaurant just a short walk from Villa Berg? The choice is yours.
If you need more than fourteen beds, we recommend two nearby villas, Villa Ekbacken and Villa Viken right next door, unless you prefer to stay at the hotel or in a Marholm cottage.
Villa Hanna - conference in your own villa for 4-8 people
Copper bathtubs, timber walls and a breathtaking view. Here you get an atmosphere that is truly different from an ordinary villa. Villa Hanna is the oldest house on the island, once built for Hanna and Nils Berg, Marholmen's original host couple.
The villa has four bedrooms and three bathrooms. Two of the rooms have 180 beds and private bathrooms, one room has a 160 bed and shares a bathroom in the hallway and the other room that shares the bathroom in the hallway has a 180 bed.
A shared kitchen and public areas provide plenty of space for socializing, and a dining room doubles as a meeting room for up to eight people. Morning and afternoon coffee is served in the villa and all meals are taken in the restaurant, just a short walk from Villa Hanna.
If you need more than beds, we recommend nearby Marholmsstugor or Gula Villan, if you do not prefer to stay at the hotel.
Villa Hanna is not winterized and can therefore only be booked from 1 May to 30 September.
Cottage meeting - conference in a cottage for up to six people
Sometimes you just want a small and informal meeting in a more relaxed environment. For this purpose, our cottages or small villas are perfect!
Our Marholm cottages and smaller villas sleep up to six people with plenty of room for an informal meeting around the kitchen table for the small group. Here you can take care of yourself within reach of all the island's services and activities.
Morning and afternoon coffee is available in the restaurant in the main hotel building, a few minutes' walk from your cottage. You will be given a basket to take back to your cottage or to any place on the island for a coffee break in the open air - why not on a pier? Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in the hotel's restaurant.
