Here at Marholmen, there are several villas and cabins where you and your group can both stay and hold conferences. The villas can accommodate up to 18 participants, and if more beds are needed, there are nearby accommodations to supplement with.
Villa Berg – conference in your own villa for up to 18 people
This unique Art Nouveau villa is a Swedish national treasure and perfect for renting for smaller meetings and conferences, like strategy meetings, management team gatherings, or board meetings. You'll have the place to yourselves while we take care of everything. All your meals will be prepared by a private chef and served right in the villa.
The villa has thirteen guest rooms: 11 double rooms, including one mini-suite, and two single rooms. Each room has its own bathroom. If more beds are needed, there are nearby villas available to book.
The spacious, rustic kitchen is truly the heart and gathering spot of the house. This is where our chef prepares your meals, and where you'll enjoy breakfast, snacks, and lunch. Meetings and dinners are held in the stunning glassed-in veranda, offering lovely views over Marholmsviken. Below the villa, there's a jetty with a Bath ladder, and on the lower floor, a relaxation area with a sauna, inviting you to enjoy sea Bathing year-round in the picturesque archipelago for complete relaxation. The villa also comes with its own hot tub.
If your group needs more than thirteen rooms, we primarily recommend two nearby villas, Villa Ekbacken and Villa Viken, both located right next door, or you can stay at the hotel or in a cabin.
Villa Hanna – conference in your own villa for 4-8 people
Copper Bath, timber walls, and an incredible view. Here you'll find an atmosphere that truly stands out from a regular villa. Villa Hanna is the island's oldest house, once built for Hanna and Nils Berg, Marholmen's original hosts.
The villa has four bedrooms and three bathrooms. Two of the rooms have 180 cm beds and private bathrooms, one room has a 160 cm bed and shares a bathroom in the hallway, and the other room sharing the hallway bathroom has a 180 cm bed.
A shared kitchen and common areas give you plenty of space to hang out, and the dining room also doubles as a meeting room for up to eight people. Morning and afternoon fika are served in the villa, and all meals are enjoyed at the restaurant, which is just a short walk from Villa Hanna.
If you need more than the available beds, we recommend the nearby cabin or Gula villan, unless you'd prefer to stay at the hotel.
Villa Hanna is not winterized and therefore can only be booked from Easter until the autumn break.
Cabin Meeting – a conference in a cabin or villa for up to six people
Sometimes you just want a small and informal meeting in a more relaxed setting. For that purpose, our cabins or smaller villas are perfect!
In our cabins and smaller villas, up to six people can sleep, with plenty of space for an informal meeting around the kitchen table for small groups. Here you can enjoy your own space, all within reach of the island's services and activities.
Your morning and afternoon coffee can either be delivered to you, or you can pick it up yourself from the restaurant in the hotel’s main building, which is just a couple of minutes’ walk from your house. You’ll get a basket to take back to your cabin or to any spot on the island for an outdoor coffee break – maybe even on a pier?
