About the Hotel Buildings at Marholmen
Our four hotel houses are a great alternative to our villas and cabins. They're perfect if you want to share accommodation with friends, colleagues, or family with older kids, but still enjoy a bit of privacy in your own hotel-standard bedroom.
Our houses offer self-catering, making them perfect for a weekend getaway or a longer stay with us. All hotel houses come with a spacious patio, a fully equipped kitchenette (house no. 32 has a full kitchen), and a lounge with a TV. All bedrooms are furnished to hotel standards and are lockable. Most also have their own toilet with a WC and shower.
The number of bedrooms and beds in the houses varies, as does the size of the common areas. See the description below for what's included in each house.
This accommodation is suitable for:
Friends, colleagues, or families with older children traveling together, while families with younger children will be more comfortable in one of our other accommodation options.
Please note that bed linen, towels, and departure cleaning are always included in the price when you book a hotel house. You can add the hotel's breakfast buffet as an option when booking, along with other meals and extras. What's included in the price will always be clear during booking and on your booking confirmation.
Pets aren't allowed here; we refer them to our cabins or hotel rooms.

Hotel House No. 9
Welcome to a bright and charming house with hotel-standard bedrooms and views over Nils Äppellund!
Here you'll stay comfortably with a fully equipped kitchenette, a dining table, and a couple of armchairs to relax in. The house's three bedrooms are all equipped to hotel standard, lockable, and have their own TV and bathroom with WC and shower. Large windows let light into the house's kitchen area, and from the house's patio, you have a lovely view towards the island's apple orchard.
Hotel House No. 9 sleeps up to six people. The beds are spread across three lockable bedrooms, with one room having a 160 cm wide bed and the other two having 180 cm wide beds. All rooms have their own TV and a private bathroom with a toilet and shower.
Hotel House No. 9 was renovated in spring 2025.
Hotel House No. 18
Hotel House No. 18 is tucked away a bit by the forest, with views of the bridges to Strömsholmen.
The house has a fully equipped kitchenette with a dining table and dishwasher. There's also a cozy living room/lounge with a TV and a private wood-burning stove. From the house's patio, you'll have varying views of the island's diverse nature and walking paths.
Hotel House No. 18 sleeps up to six people. The hotel house has three bedrooms, all equipped to hotel standard, with their own bathroom with shower and TV, and are lockable. The beds are spread across three bedrooms, with two rooms having a 180 cm wide bed and one room having a 140 cm wide bed.
Hotel House No. 18 was renovated in spring 2025.
Hotel House No. 19
Hotel House No. 19 is beautifully situated with a spacious south-facing deck and views towards Marholmsviken.
The house features a shared common room, a fully equipped kitchenette with a kitchen table and dishwasher, three bedrooms, and two bathrooms. All bedrooms are lockable, and from the house's spacious patio, you'll enjoy a lovely view of the island.
Hotel House No. 19 sleeps up to five people. The beds are spread across a total of three bedrooms, with two double rooms where one has a 180 cm bed and the other a 140 cm wide bed. The house's single room has a 90 cm wide bed. The bedrooms don't have private bathrooms; they share the house's two bathrooms.
Hotel House No. 19 was renovated in spring 2025.
Hotel House No. 32
This hotel building is nestled in the beautiful archipelago nature on the western part of the island.
Hotel building 32 has a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge, freezer, oven, microwave, and dishwasher. The building also features a spacious living room with a dining table, fireplace, a seating area with a sofa, and a TV. Up to four people can sleep in the building's two bedrooms; one has a 180 cm wide bed, and the other has a 160 cm bed. Both bedrooms have their own bathrooms with showers and TVs, and they are not lockable.
In this house, one of the bedrooms and its bathroom are designed for accessibility, and the house even has a wheelchair ramp.
