All four hotel houses have kitchenettes that are equipped with most things you need for simple cooking incl. fridge, freezer, stove, oven and dishwasher(not dishwasher in house no. 9) House no. 32 has a fully equipped kitchen.
Tips for what to bring to the house you've rented:
If you forget anything, we have a small shop in the hotel where you can buy coffee, coffee filters, tea, etc. A five-minute drive from Marholmen, you'll also find the grocery store Tempo Vreta Handel.
DO I NEED TO BRING BED LINEN AND TOWELS?
When you book a Hotel House, bed linen and towels are always included in the price for everyone staying in the house.
IS CLEANING INCLUDED IN THE PRICE?
When you rent a Hotel House, departure cleaning is always included in the price.
IS BREAKFAST OR OTHER MEALS INCLUDED IN THE PRICE?
Normally, breakfast isn't included if you're staying in a Hotel House, unless you've booked a package that includes breakfast. What's included in the price will always be stated in your booking confirmation. You can buy a breakfast buffet on-site by booking a table at the reception.
IS THERE WIFI IN THE HOUSE?
Yep, there's free wifi in all Hotel Houses.
CAN I BRING MY OWN FOOD AND DRINKS TO THE HOUSES?
Yes, you can bring your own food and drink if you have rented a Hotel House, but keep in mind that there is only a fully equipped kitchen in house number 32, other Hotel Houses have a kitchenette with everything you need to cook a simple dinner. All houses have a fridge, freezer, stove, oven and dishwasher. The houses have at least as many cutlery, glasses and plates as there are beds.
Of course, you can also choose to add breakfast and other meals at our restaurant, use our take-away service, or visit our bar.
CAN I BRING MY DOG?
No, pets are not allowed in our Hotel Houses. Instead, we recommend our cabins or hotel rooms for guests with pets. Read more about bringing your dog to Marholmen here.
WHERE DO I THROW THE GARBAGE?
At the large parking lot there is an environmental / recycling station where you throw your sorted garbage, empty glass etc. before you leave the house.
WHAT DO I NEED TO DO BEFORE I CHECK OUT?
Throw away rubbish, empty glasses etc. in the recycling station at the parking lot, fill the dishwasher (not house no. 9) and put it on a long program. Take an extra turn and make sure that all windows are closed, that the heaters are at 18 degrees, that any parasol is folded down and that you have not forgotten anything.
Terms and conditions for guests at Marholmen
– You must be at least 18 years old to book/enter into an agreement with Marholmen.
– To ensure everyone visiting Marholmen enjoys their stay, you agree to show consideration for our other guests and staff by following the rules, instructions, and regulations that apply on the island.
– You're responsible for any damages to the property or its furnishings if you or anyone in your group has been negligent, and also for any costs that might come up, like fire brigade call-outs for false alarms.
– If complaints about disruptive behavior are reported to Marholmen, we have the right to immediately evict the guest from the accommodation/area if the behavior is not corrected immediately after being asked. In such a case, no refund will be issued for the remaining stay.
– If you're not happy with our service, please contact the reception first so any issues can be resolved during your stay.
