Activities to do while staying or visiting us at Marholmen
The activities here on the island vary slightly depending on the time of year you come, but there is always something to do in all weathers. Some activities need to be booked well in advance to ensure a place, others can be booked when you arrive. One tip is to always pack clothes according to the weather and comfortable shoes so that you can do what you want to do.
Nature trails for walks, exercise tracks, forest bathing, indoor and outdoor gym, agility course, several barbecue areas, a large and fun playground, piers for swimming, a beach with a diving tower and a dog beach are always included for you as a guest with us. Of course, this also applies to you who only visit us for the day.

Hot tub & sauna
Badholmen, with its private sandy beach, sauna and hot tubs for private use, is one of our most popular places on Marholmen.
Play boules
Challenge your friends or why not the neighbors in the cottage next door in the classic and social game of boules. Our boules court is centrally located on the island.
Adventure golf
Marholmens äventyrsgolf is a challenging course with plenty of bunkers and waterways. An activity that suits everyone - from the youngest to the oldest!

Bathing experience with outdoor pools, saunas, changing rooms with showers and areas for relaxing and socializing - all year round and in all weather!
Mareld Spa
In the Mareld Spa you can relax and enjoy light therapy, dry and steam sauna, whirlpool and an outdoor hot spring, every day and all year round.

Cold swimming is one of our most popular activities all year round, with a refreshing dip in the sea followed by a sauna.

Our outdoor gym is a workout in beautiful surroundings that takes you around seven stations and trains strength and intervals at the same time.
Ping-pong in the boathouse
In the old boathouse below the main building, you can challenge each other to a game of table tennis all year round.

Lie down in the moss, sit on a stump, hug a tree or wander aimlessly. Take in nature with all your senses and see what happens.
Shuffleboard
A game that requires tactics, accuracy and nerves of steel. The game is suitable for young and old and is free for our guests.
Light trails
Start the day in the best possible way with a run. If it's dark, turn on the lights before running across the bridge to Strömsholmen.
Charcoal bun over an open fire
Bring a pre-packed charcoal bun bag with everything you need to make your own charcoal bun over an open fire. Fun family activity!
Multi-court
Meet your friends in a match in our multicourt! Choose between basketball, tennis and football. You can rent equipment from us on site or bring your own.
Tugboat to Nils Badhus
Take the raft out to the little, little house on the little, little island that takes you back to the early 1900s. The kids' favorite!
Rent a canoe
During the summer months, canoes are available for hire - a perfect way to explore the area around Marholmen.
Fishing trip by boat
Fish for pike, zander, perch or sea trout in the waters around Marholmen. Rent a boat on your own or book a professional fishing guide.
