On July 31, we’re opening the doors to a brand-new spa experience here at Marholmen more ways to relax. Here’s what awaits you:

– Treatment rooms for spa treatments and massages using natural products from C/O Gerd
Everything is designed around nature’s four elements—earth, fire, air, and water—to create a holistic experience of weight, warmth, flow, and stillness.

Spa treatments & massage
Let your mind relax while your body is pampered in one of our treatment rooms.
We offer a wide range of spa treatments and massage packages performed by our certified spa therapists. Of course, the best part is combining your treatment with a visit to the spa, but it’s not required. You can also book just a treatment.
We partner withC/O Gerd, whose products are made from carefully selected ingredients sourced from Swedish Lapland and harness the power of berry seed oils—including those from blueberries, lingonberries, and cloudberries—which are naturally rich in antioxidants, vitamins, and essential fatty acids.
Our products are not tested on animals. A selection of these products is available for purchase at the hotel shop.
Note: Until July 30, all spa treatments will take place at Beda's booth at 7° Bath Bastu.

How can I book a spa pass
?
You can choose to book a 1-, 2-, or 3-hour spa pass.
What’s included in the spa admission?
The price includes a bathrobe, towel, and slippers. The spa admission includes all activities, including our infinity pool, IR chairs, foot baths, saunas, hot tub, and our sun therapy room, where you can enjoy the health benefits of the sun, such as a strengthened immune system and increased vitamin D levels.
Do I have to wear a swimsuit?
Yes! Here, we always wear swimsuits outside the changing rooms to ensure everyone’s comfort and enjoyment. If you’ve forgotten to bring your own, you can buy one at the spa entrance.
What is the age limit at the spa?
We have an 18-year-old age limit at our spa.
Can I book a spa package?
On August 16, we’ll open booking for spa packages. Until then, you can book spa admission separately.
Where is Marholmen located?
Marholmen in the Roslagen archipelago, a few kilometers from Norrtälje and 60 minutes from Stockholm and Arlanda.
What happens if I want to cancel?
Please notify us by email atmarholmen no later than 24 hours before your scheduled appointment if you are unable to attend or if the number of people in your party is fewer than the number for which you booked spa admission; otherwise, you will be charged the full price. This applies to both spa admission and spa treatments. If you’ve booked a group or a conference, the rules you received at the time of booking apply.
The Philosophy Behind the New Marholmen
During the renovation, we are building on Marholmen’s interior design philosophy, which is rooted in the four elements of nature. Earth, fire, air, and water are also incorporated into the spa, creating a holistic experience of depth, warmth, flow, and tranquility.
The earth is our foundation.
It provides weight, stability, and a sense of being grounded. Materials such as stone, wood, and muted tones create a foundation where you can find your footing and recharge.
The fire becomes the heartbeat.
A fireplace in the room creates warmth, a sense of community, and energy, while the lighting—carefully orchestrated in the darker areas—transforms the room into a living stage.
Air symbolizes flow and freedom.
Bright, open rooms by the windows let natural light stream in, creating a contrast with the more intimate spaces.
Water brings tranquility.
Pools and showers offer purification, stillness, and renewal—a reminder of nature’s ability to restore balance and heal.
Together, these elements create a holistic experience that feels both ancient and contemporary—a place where darkness meets light, weight meets movement, and stillness meets energy.
A moment just for you
As you step through the door, you feel your shoulders relax. The air is warm, the sounds are soft, the lighting is subdued, and the scent of a sauna fills the air. There’s no rush here—just tranquility, warmth, and the sea as your constant companion.
You might choose to start your time here in the new infinity pool, where the water seems to blend into the horizon and the beautiful Roslagen archipelago below. Then it’s time to really warm up your body. You sink into an IR chair and let the deep heat slowly melt away tensions you didn’t even know you were carrying. A soothing foot bath gives your feet the same love and care that the rest of your body receives.
The humidity of the steam sauna meets the intense heat of the dry sauna, and in between, you can cool off in the hot tub. Take a moment to sit back and let your body and mind soak up the vitamin D we up here in the North so desperately need in the light therapy room. Want the ultimate in luxury relaxation? Then a massage or spa treatment awaits at the hands of our certified spa therapists, who know exactly where your body needs a little extra care.
Everything is built around earth, fire, air, and water—nature’s own elements, transformed into spaces and rituals that help you find your center. When you leave the spa, you’ll feel calm, relaxed, and in total harmony.
