Copper baths, log walls and mangled sheets. If you choose to stay in Villa Hanna, you choose to stay in Marholmen's oldest house, once built for Hanna and Nils Berg, Marholmen's original hosts. You also choose the beautiful, national romantic details that the Åland architect Lars Sonck once dressed both inside and outside with.
From the villa you have a grand gravel path through the beautiful garden, down to the water and Nils Badhus which is Marholmen's landmark. When you stay at Villa Hanna, you get a historic atmosphere with modern comfort and an accommodation that is different from our other accommodations here on the island - or anywhere else for that matter.
In Villa Hanna's 254 square meters there are 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Two of the rooms have 180 beds and private bathrooms, one room has a 160 bed and shares a bathroom in the hallway and the other room that shares the bathroom in the hallway has a 180 bed. On the ground floor of the villa there is a shared and modern equipped kitchen with a charming wood stove for a historical touch. There is also a dining room and generous spaces for socializing and conversation - even a private billiard room!

The villa retains its historic charm, but has been renovated to a high modern standard. The house's four double rooms are suitable for private parties of up to 8 people and for smaller meetings, such as management team or board meetings in a different and stimulating environment. If more accommodation is needed, there are nearby villas or Skärgårdshus to book.
Please note that Villa Hanna is not winterized and can therefore only be booked from Easter until the autumn holidays. In our booking calendar you can see which dates the villa is available for bookings. Pets are not allowed in the villa.
NOTE! During periods of high demand, Villa Hanna is rented for two or more nights at a time. If you do not find availability on the date you are looking for in our online booking, try searching for more nights.

Spring seems a long way off today, doesn't it? But as all gardeners know, it is important to plan well in advance and here on the island the preparations are already in full swing. 🌷
Now the bulbs are in the ground in Beda's Flower Meadow and outside Villa Hanna we are planting period perennials that probably grew there when the villa was completed in 1905.
We leave the sunflowers over the winter for the sake of hungry birds. 🌻

Welcome to Villa Hanna!
The house was originally built as a summer residence for Hanna & Nils Berg and is the oldest on the island. The famous Finnish architect Lars Sonck designed the villa, which was then built from timber transported from Åland.
Today you can rent Villa Hanna which now has modern standards with the original charm preserved. With 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and shared kitchen, dining room and common areas, Villa Hanna is a perfect villa to rent for larger parties and smaller meetings.
