Here are some practical tips on what to bring to make the most of your stay with us. The kitchens in all villas are equipped with most things you'll need for cooking and have at least as many cutlery, glasses, and plates as there are beds in the villa.
Tips for what to bring to the villa you've rented:
If you forget anything, we have a small shop in the hotel. A five-minute drive from Marholmen, you'll also find the grocery store Tempo Vreta Handel.
DO I NEED TO BRING BED LINEN AND TOWELS?
When you book a villa, bed linen and towels are included.
IS CLEANING INCLUDED IN THE PRICE?
When you rent a villa, final cleaning is included in the price.
IS BREAKFAST OR OTHER MEALS INCLUDED IN THE PRICE?
Normally, breakfast isn't included if you've rented a villa, unless you've booked a package that includes breakfast or if you're staying as part of a conference or corporate event. What's included in the price will always be stated in your booking confirmation.
IS THERE WIFI IN THE VILLA?
Yep, there's free wifi in all villas.
CAN I BRING MY OWN FOOD AND DRINKS TO THE VILLA?
Yes, you can bring your own food and drinks if you've rented a villa. Of course, you can also choose to add breakfast and other meals at our restaurant, use our Dinner box & takeaway service, or visit our bar.
CAN I BRING MY DOG TO THE VILLA?
Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed in any of our villas. However, we have several cabins and hotel rooms where dogs are welcome.
WHAT DO I NEED TO DO BEFORE I CHECK OUT?
Throw rubbish, empty glasses etc. in the recycling station at the parking lot, fill the dishwasher and turn it on. Take an extra turn and make sure that all windows are closed, that the heaters are at 20 degrees, that any parasol is folded down and that you have not forgotten anything.
WHERE DO I THROW THE GARBAGE?
At the large parking lot there is an environmental / recycling station where you throw your sorted garbage, empty glass etc. before you leave the house.
WHAT KITCHEN EQUIPMENT IS THERE IN MY VILLA?
– You must be at least 18 years old to book/enter into an agreement with Marholmen.
– As a guest at Marholmen, you agree to show consideration for our other guests and staff by following the rules, instructions, and regulations that apply on the island.
– You're responsible for any costs related to damages to the property or its furnishings, false fire alarm call-outs, and so on, if you or anyone in your group has been negligent.
– If complaints about disruptive behavior are reported to Marholmen, we have the right to immediately evict the guest from the accommodation/area if the behavior is not corrected immediately after being asked. In such a case, no refund will be issued for the remaining stay.
– If you're not happy with our service, please contact the reception first so any issues can be resolved during your stay.
