We are located on an island with a bridge connection in the Roslagen archipelago, just outside Norrtälje and about an hour by car from Stockholm and Uppsala.
No, Marholmen is connected by a 14 meter long car bridge to the mainland. No ferry is needed! If you have your own boat, you can dock at our guest jetty.
All guests who take advantage of Marholmen's offerings and services by staying at the hotel, in the cottages, villas, glamping tents or on the pitches, eating in the restaurant, conferencing on the island or visiting Mareld Spa, park for free in designated areas. Please note that you must always register your vehicle at reception.
Temporary visitors who come to the island to walk, walk the dog or swim, pay parking fees using the Aimo Park app.
If you have booked one of our cottages, you are welcome to drive up to it when you arrive to unpack your car. Then park in our large free parking lot or the parking lot belonging to the cottage. For those who have booked Villa Berg, Grosshandlarvillan, Villa Viken, Villa Ekbacken or Yellow Villa, there is a separate parking lot right next to the villa / house. Do not forget that as a resident or temporary guest on Marholmen, you must always register your car at the reception when you park on the island.
We have eight charging stations for electric cars and use eways as a supplier for our charging service. Payment is made via swish or with the EasyPark app.

We have wireless internet throughout the area and it is included for you as a guest to use freely.

We love dogs and in most cases the dog is very welcome to come to Marholmen! We have dog rooms and dog cabins that you can book for a supplement of 300 SEK.
Please note that we have a limited number and that you need to indicate at the time of booking if you intend to bring a dog and wait for final confirmation.
In the lobby it is possible to have a snack and drink with your dog.
We also have a dog beach and an agility course here on the island.
Dogs are not allowed if you have booked a glamping tent.
Of course! Our main building, restaurant and conference rooms are easily accessible with a wheelchair or walker and we have some handicapped accessible hotel rooms and cottages.

Absolutely! Our indoor gym is located in the main building and the gym is included for all our resident guests. The opening hours of the gym follow the opening hours of the reception.
On our small island Strömsholmen there is also an outdoor gym that you can visit whenever you want during your stay.
Around the island there are also electric light trails and Skogsbad for those who want to practice mindfulness!

Yes, we have 15 pitches at Marholmen for motorhomes and caravans for a maximum of seven nights at a time. Please note that we do not have a service house with shower and toilet, but you can use the toilet in the main building about a five-minute walk from the pitches.
For caravans, the car must be parked in the designated areas some distance from the pitches. Please note that for space reasons it is not possible to set up an awning. Read more here >>

Absolutely! Marholmen is for everyone to experience and enjoy.
What fun, you are about to have a great nature experience! You come to us at the reception in the main building to check in to our glamping. The same check-in and check-out times apply, i.e. 15:00 on the day of arrival and 11:00 on the day of departure.
At the reception you will receive further instructions on what applies to your glamping stay and directions to the island Rackaren where our glamping tents are located. Please note that dogs are not allowed.
First of all - glad you found us! To check in at our pitches, come to the reception, where you will receive your pitch number, a map and further instructions. The same check-in and check-out times apply, i.e. 3 pm on the day of arrival and 11 am on the day of departure. Electricity pole, fresh water tap and gray water drainage are available in connection with the pitch area.
Please note that we do not have a service house or toilets in the area but refer to the hotel's guest toilets.
Mareld Spa is a small and personalized spa offering a relaxing lounge with light therapy, dry sauna & steam room, whirlpool and outdoor hot spring.
If you have booked a spa package, admission to the Mareld Spa is included for the time stated on your booking confirmation.
If you have booked a hotel room with breakfast or rented a cottage or villa, the spa entrance is normally not included and you need to book it separately. The price includes 2 hours of entrance incl. sun therapy and loan of bathrobe, towel and slippers.
We have several different spa treatments and massages to choose from, performed by our experienced spa therapists. We use Kerstin Florian's products, which are based on natural ingredients and are not tested on animals. Treatments are booked via Marholmens BokaDirekt or via the reception on 0771-16 17 00.
Yes, this is fine, but only after you have passed week 14 of pregnancy. We adapt the treatment you want based on how you feel in your pregnancy.
We have an age limit of 18 years in our spa, but during school holidays children over four years old are welcome in the company of a parent at certain times.

We offer a take away menu for our resident guests - ordered before 17:00 the same day and picked up in the Restaurant before 19:00.
