Marholmen's two beach volleyball courts are right by the water in a sunny, south-facing spot, just a few minutes' walk from the main building. You can rent and pick up balls and game rules at the hotel reception or at Grosshandlargården's Summer Café.

Price 175 SEK per hour for play, including ball and game rules.

Beach volleyball started as a pastime for surfers on California's white beaches, waiting for the perfect wave, back in the early 1900s. The sport quickly spread and became an Olympic sport in 1996.
