Cold bath with sauna at Badholmen

The cold bath is suitable for those who want to try something refreshing and absolutely fantastic in terms of experience. In this wonderful activity, the whole body just gets to be here and now. We recommend that you bathe several times with a subsequent sauna to really experience cold bathing, just right for a moment of relaxation at Badholmen.

Marholmen's sea baths have always existed, in a way. Badholmen is the name of the place you will visit when you book a sea bath. And just as it sounds, the islet has always been used for swimming, all year round. The difference is that we have set up a jetty with a ladder and in winter we make sure to keep it ice-free for those who want to take a dip.

Cooling down the body quickly is not harmful to a healthy person; on the contrary, it has many health benefits. However, you should be careful with cold baths if you have a heart or vascular disease. You know your body best.

Cold bath at Marholmen costs 195 SEK per person incl. VAT and includes one hour of private use of Badholmen with a heated sauna for up to eight people.

When you book this activity, you get a bathrobe and towel that you take with you to the changing room at Badholmen. Here you will also find some tips for those who have never been cold swimming before.

Please note that advance booking is required as the sauna takes time to heat up.
