At Grosshandlargården you really feel the wings of history. Imagine that here the students sat in one of Sweden's first folk schools (folk education home) and they lived in the boarding school across the courtyard, where we today arrange parties and events of all kinds.

Since the early 1900s, play dates and festivities have been organized at Grosshandlargården. Today, companies and groups can rent Grosshandlargården for an unusual conference, dinner or party.
The beautiful old folk education center Grosshandlargården, with room for up to 60 seated guests, has been carefully renovated to preserve its unique character and history is ever present - in both large and small.
We are happy to help make your party perfect - whether it's a christening, birthday party, anniversary wedding, conference or kick-off.
The main hall is 62 square meters, while the foyer is 30 square meters.

Nat aniel var den första rektorn på det Folkbildningshem som startade här 1926 och de båda levde på ön om somrarna. Medan de levde var faktiskt Natanael den som var mest känd, men det är Elsa vi mest känner till idag. Akvarellen målade Elsa själv 1931.

Soon, soon it will be the new premiere for the summer restaurant Grosshandlargården!
The picture is from the last time it happened here at Grosshandlargården and on June 13 it is the new premiere! From midsummer, the summer restaurant is open for food, drinks, coffee and ice cream from 10.30 am to late every day of the week until August 17.
