More about the offer
Marholmen has a long and proud tradition as a rest home for working women and men. In 1912, Nils and Hanna Berg donated the island to the Swedish Trade Union Confederation to give workers' wives and wives the opportunity to rest. A few years later, the activities were expanded to include a Folkbildningshem here on the island.
In 1983, the Swedish Union of Municipal Workers bought Marholmen from LO to build a leisure facility for its members. You can read more about the history of Marholmen here.
We are carrying on the tradition, and as a member of Kommunal you are still welcome to book a well-deserved rest at Marholmen at favorable prices all year round. The offer also applies to members of SKPF, the Swedish Association of Municipal Pensioners.

The discount applies to accommodation in hotel rooms with buffet breakfast on available dates regardless of when you book.
25 percent discount on accommodation in cabin , villas or camping pitches
No matter when you book, you always get a 25 percent discount on accommodation in our cabin , villas and camping sites. Breakfast not included.
50% discount on accommodation in hotel rooms, cabin or villas only
When you book at the last minute, i.e. at least 7 days before arrival, you can stay for half the price!
Conditions
- You must present a valid membership card at check-in.
- The offer is valid only on regular prices and cannot be combined with other discounts, promotions or offers.
- Maximum of two cabin at member discount per stay.
- As a member, you must book your own accommodation, so you cannot book for someone else.
- The offer also applies to members of SKPF, the Swedish Association of Municipal Pensioners.
- The discount does not apply to glamping or Villa Berg.
