Here we try to answer everything you need to know when you are a resident guest at the hotel.

In the card holder you received when you checked in, you will find information on how to log in to our WiFi.

For the power to work in the room, you need to place a key card in the power lock on the wall just inside the door.

Marholmen is a non-smoking hotel. It is forbidden to smoke in the room and outside on the balcony and terrace. We refer smokers to the smoking box to the left of the entrance by the large map.

You can adjust the temperature in the room three degrees up (+) and three degrees down (-) on the thermostat on the wall.

The key card should be in the power lock at all times to regulate the temperature. Note that it may take a while before you notice any difference.

You will find our gym on the ground floor of the hotel. Take the elevator or stairs down to floor 1 where you will find the gym on the left. You enter with your key card.

There is also an outdoor gym with seven stations on Strömsholmen. See the map in your room.

Marholmen is a Swan-labeled hotel and we work together with the Swan to reduce our environmental impact. We at Marholmen take care of your garbage and sort it so you don't have to think about it.

Parking is free for our accommodation guests. All you have to do is register your car on the tablet at the reception desk. You have remembered that, right?

Forgot your toothbrush at home? No problem. At our reception, we sell toothbrushes and other essential hygiene items. You can also get cotton pads and earplugs at no extra cost.

If you want to book a table, contact the reception and we will help you.

In your room you will find coffee and tea. This is a free service to all our guests. If you need a refill or a splash of milk, you are welcome to stop by the reception.

We do not offer room service at Marholmen, but if you prefer to eat in your room, that is fine. Come down to the restaurant and order a takeaway to bring up to your room.

Once the main building is locked, you can enter by scanning your key card to the right of the entrance.

Check-out should be no later than 11:00 on the day of departure. If you wish to check out later, please contact the reception for availability.


If you have booked a spa package, admission to the Mareld Spa is included for the time stated on your booking confirmation.

If you have booked a hotel room with breakfast, the spa entrance is normally not included, but you need to book it separately at the reception. The price includes 2 hours of admission incl. sun therapy and use of bathrobe, towel and slippers.

Please note that we have an age limit of 18 years in our spa, but during school holidays children over four years old are welcome in the company of a parent at certain times.

We have several different spa treatments and massages to choose from, performed by our experienced spa therapists.

We use Kerstin Florian's products, which are based on natural ingredients and are not tested on animals. Read more about our spa treatments and book here.

As a guest at Marholmen, you undertake to show consideration for our other guests and employees by following the rules of order, instructions and regulations that apply on the island.

  • You are personally responsible for any damage to the property or its contents caused by the negligence of you or anyone else in your party.
  • If complaints about disruptive behavior are received by Marholmen, we have the right to immediately evict the guest from the accommodation / area if correction is not made immediately after notice. In this case, there will be no refund for the remaining period of stay.
  • The Mareld spa should be quiet and peaceful.
  • If you are not satisfied with our delivery, please contact reception in the first instance so that we can resolve any problems during your stay.
