Mareld Spa in the Roslagen archipelago
When you walk through the doors of Mareld Spa, it's like everyday life is put on hold for a moment. You exhale, lower your shoulders and feel the calm spread throughout your body. This is your place. This is your moment.
Mareld Spa is a small and personal spa that offers a relaxing lounge with light therapy, dry sauna & steam room, hot tub, outdoor hot spring and a balcony facing the bay with a wonderful view that constantly changes in full harmony with our Swedish seasons. Here you can let your thoughts rest for a while while your body is cared for in a warming sauna, a lovely Bath or in a relaxing chair while the sun's rays awaken your life spirits. Or you can give it your full attention in one of our treatment rooms.
From June 1, 2025, Mareld Spa will close for a time for renovation. In the meantime, we warmly refer to the natural bathing experience 7° Bath & Sauna. Read more >>
Spa treatments & massages
Let your mind rest while your body is pampered and given full attention in one of our treatment rooms by our certified SPA therapists, who offer a range of spa treatments and massages.
We use products based on solid expertise, natural ingredients and nature's beneficial resources such as mineral water, clay, algae, botanical extracts and essential oils. Our products are not tested on animals. A selection of the products is available for purchase in the hotel shop.
Sun therapy included in your spa entrance fee
One hour in our sun simulator is equivalent to about 20 minutes outdoors in the middle of the day in sunny weather during summer. Regular use can stimulate vitamin D production in the skin - even during the darkest time of the year when sun deficiency and vitamin D deficiency are most evident.
Other benefits of sun therapy:
- Stimulates the production of the pigment melanin in the skin
- Reduces muscle pain and stiff joints
- Counteracts osteoporosis
- Regular treatment can relieve skin diseases such as phsoriasis
- Stimulates the immune system and the production of vitamin D in the skin.
- Can relieve seasonal depression
A 50-minute light therapy program is included in your spa admission, so just sit back in a sun lounger, relax and enjoy the rays of light on your skin.
Good to know
Spa entrance
Two hours of admission to the Mareld Spa costs 250 SEK per person Sunday to Thursday and 350 SEK Friday, Saturday and certain holidays for resident guests. The price includes bathrobe, towel and slippers. Spa entrance is always included when you book one of our spa packages.
The spa entrance also always includes our sun therapy room, where you can enjoy the health benefits of the sun, such as boosting your immune system and replenishing vitamin D. Places cannot be booked in advance,
Here we always wear swimwear outside the changing rooms. If you forgot to bring your own, you can buy it in the hotel shop.
Age limits
Normally we have an 18 year age limit in our spa with the following exceptions:
- With Svea Junior Package children over 12 years of age are welcome on Fridays and the day before a public holiday from 14-16 and 16-18, and on Saturdays and the day after a public holiday from 08-10.
- During the sports holidays, Easter holidays and autumn holidays, children over the age of four are welcome on all weekdays (excluding public holidays) from 8am to 10am, always accompanied by a responsible parent or guardian.
Please note that anyone under the age of 18 must always be accompanied by an adult who is responsible for ensuring a calm and restful environment in our spa for the well-being and enjoyment of all guests. Cyclops, flippers etc are not allowed.

You are of course also welcome to enjoy the Mareld Spa for the day.
