Here at Marholmen, you'll get a pre-packed 'Kolbulle' kit with firewood, matches, batter, pork, lingonberry jam, a frying pan, a drink, and everything else you need. You take the kit to one of our designated barbecue spots here on the island, where you'll cook your 'kolbulle' together over an open fire and eat it piping hot directly from the pan with lingonberry jam. It's a historic lunch that's a popular activity for all ages!

Inside the bag, you'll find firewood, kindling (usually recycled egg cartons), matches, napkins, frying pans, seat pads, drinks, fried pork, batter, lingonberry jam, and more!

Here's how to book Kolbulle

The Kolbulle kit can be reserved online or ordered at the front desk no later than the day before, and you can bring it with you to cook on your own at one of our designated barbecue areas here on the island.

Pick up and pay at the bar between 11:00 and 11:30.

You can also order this bag for smaller conference groups. Just ask us when you book!

Note! Due to fire risk, we don't sell the bag during summer (June 1st - August 31st) or when there's a fire ban. If you're unsure, please ask us what applies when you book.
