Wedding and Party Packages with a 3-course celebration menu in Grosshandlargården or Strandpaviljongen
You can book our party package in our beautiful, historic venues, Grosshandlargården or Strandpaviljongen. These are located right in the heart of Marholmen and were built during Elsa Beskow's time on our island. Our party packages include:
- A party menu
- Venue rental for Grosshandlargården or Strandpaviljongen
- Serving staff and chefs
- Furnishings with tables, chairs, white linen tablecloths and napkins.
Minimum 40 people.
Price indication: from SEK 1,124 per person.
This price example includes a decorated party venue with a 3-course party menu and coffee for 90 people in the Beach Pavilion. Drinks are extra.

Please note that we unfortunately do not host weddings and parties at Grosshandlargården or Strandpaviljongen during our summer season, which runs from Midsummer until mid-August.
Wedding and Party Packages with a 4-course celebration menu in Villa Berg
Villa Berg's wedding and party package includes:
- The entire villa, 448 square meters including 13 guest rooms, from 3 PM on arrival day until 11 AM on departure day
- Snacks in the villa upon arrival
- A 4-course festive meal, prepared by Loén's talented culinary creators
- Accommodation for up to 20 people in the villa, with more accommodation available to book
- Breakfast
- Free access to the villa's shared relaxation area with sauna and hot tub

Good to know when booking a party at Marholmen
The following is included in the wedding and party packages:
- Event venue
- Serving staff and chef(s)
- Event menu
- Furnishings with tables and chairs, white tablecloths and linen napkins.
- Existing sound system in the venue (not suitable for dancing)
Add-ons:
- Wedding on the island
- Drink package, wedding toast, pre-dinner drink, after-dinner drink, etc.
- Snacks including canapés, cheese & charcuterie board, etc.
- Late-night snack
- Handling and serving of your own cake
- Accommodation in hotel rooms, cabins, or villas
Please note:
– Any music must be turned off by 1:00 AM at the latest, out of consideration for other guests on the island and our neighbors.
– Alcoholic beverages brought from outside may not be consumed at Marholmen's serving areas, including the party venue.
– The venue must be cleared of any personal decorations by the agreed time.
Event venues in historic settings in the heart of the island
Every party is unique, and we do everything we can to make yours feel just right. A party at Marholmen is truly special. Here, you'll find yourselves on your own private island in the heart of the Roslagen archipelago. Perhaps it's the magic of us having arranged parties here for over eighty years!
You can choose from the historic Grosshandlargården, an original classroom from the folk high school that was located here on Marholmen 100 years ago, or the beautiful Strandpaviljongen, which was a student dormitory during the same period. Or Marholmen's jewel, the Art Nouveau villa Villa Berg, completed in 1915 and carefully renovated back to its former glory.
Don't want your guests to go home? No problem, we have plenty of beds!
All our guests can stay here, and we truly mean everyone! Choose between staying in hotel rooms, or together in our popular Marholmen cabins or in our villas here on the island. That way, you can all gather again and enjoy a shared breakfast buffet the next morning.
