Hold the key against the door to unlock. The door locks automatically when it closes, so remember to always take a key with you when you go out.
In the card holder you received when you checked in, you'll find information on how to log in to our Wi-Fi.
Wifi Marholmen – Guest with code 4005.
Firewood is available for purchase at the reception.
Start by opening the combustion air supply using the knob located on the front left under the stove. Turn it to l = open.
Then, open the flue damper on the chimney by setting it to Ö or +. Place a few logs and put a firelighter under the wood (these can be picked up at the reception). Light the firelighter and push the doors almost shut, but don't close them completely. Once the fire has caught, close the doors.
If it's hard to get a fire going, it might be due to poor draft in the chimney. Try stuffing crumpled newspaper into the chimney from inside the fireplace and lighting it. Then light the fire as usual.
The sauna heater has two knobs, one for temperature and one for time.
Temperature setting
Adjust to your desired temperature, up or down. Generally, 70-90 degrees is just right.
Please note! Setting the temperature too high will cause our overheating protection to trip and require staff to reset it.
Timer setting
You can set the sauna so it's warm when you get back to your cabin after the day's activities. Here's how:
1-4 (white marked).
The first numbers 1-4 (white marked) start the sauna immediately and it runs for the number of hours indicated by the digit.
1-8 (black marked).
When you enter 1-8 (black marked), the timer function starts, and the sauna will start after the number of hours indicated (e.g., 3 starts the sauna in 3 hours).
The timer automatically switches off at position 0. You can turn it back and forth at any time, for example, to manually switch off the sauna (turn to 0) or to change an already made setting.
Enjoy the sauna!
If you pour water on the stones, remember to do it carefully and with a little water at a time, otherwise, the residual current device might trip.
All our villas are smoke-free, and smoking inside is not allowed. Please use the terrace if you need to smoke. And remember to pick up your cigarette butts for everyone's comfort and a pleasant stay!
